District Manager

Reports to: Regional Director of Operations

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervises multiple regional car washes, including recruiting, hiring and retaining qualified site personnel. Ultimate responsibility for ensuring all daily openings and closings are on schedule. Serves as needed at district sites and as directed in other areas of region, including future assigned sites of responsibility. Assist in the training/retraining of site personnel, as needed. Approves all scheduling/staffing.  Reviews Weekly and Bi-Weekly remittance of hours worked to maintain budget requirements/addresses excessive hours worked.  Communicates and enforces company policies and procedures, including disciplinary action, up to and including discharge. Assists with all manager meeting agendas and presentations.

 

  • Drive sales/volumes at the site level by directing on-site sales/promotional efforts including, but not limited to: FastPass, Gift Cards, fleet, fundraisers, wash packs, vending sales.  Reviews Daily deposits, safe reconciliation and other daily reports, as required

 

  • Assist/ensure company goals are met (Volumes/RPW/ Revenues/EBIDTA/Labor) Monitors sites through Cleanliness, Value, and Service (CVS) evaluations to insure company standards and procedures are maintained

 

  • Drives excellent Customer Service – Handles customer questions and complaints, including oversight of Vehicle Incident Reports (Form –Pictures –Video –Follow Up- resolutions) and communicates with Regional Director of Operations any problems or damages to be resolved.

 

  • Coordinates supply orders between Managers and service technicians (ordering chemicals, office, vending and tunnel supplies)

 

  • Promotes company by developing community relationships (Chamber of Commerce meetings, visiting Community Schools, and Community Events, etc.)

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

Skills and Experience

  • Multiple years of customer service/retail management experience
  • Excellent written communication skills with experience of pulling together comprehensive documentation
  • Excellent PC skills including MicroSoft packages

Service Technician

  The Service Technicians are responsible for equipment maintenance and repair, and installation of automated and self-serve car wash equipment, and for keeping related records. ​ Also, he/​she recommends changes in systems, programs and equipment to improve reliability, increase capability, and/​or reduce customer costs. ​ This position offers consistent work schedules and a rotating weekend on-call schedule. ​ Travel is required, but rarely overnight.

The Service Technician performs the following duties in the field with minimal supervision and coaching, using his/​her tools and a vehicle provided by the company:

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Troubleshoot car wash equipment-related chemical, mechanical, electromechanical, electronic equipment, and PLC controllers,
  • Diagnose and repair car wash equipment malfunctions.​
  • Perform periodic scheduled and corrective maintenance of installed equipment.​
  • Modify or update equipment when required.​
  • Maintain tools, test equipment, and materials in a professional manner.​
  • May work with processes that are unique or peculiar to customer needs
  • Counsel clients relating the use, operation, and maintenance of equipment.​
  • Coordinate and keep abreast of new developments and innovations leading to improved departmental and company performance.​
  • Accurately receive and convey technical information
  • Assist with training wash managers within the team to promote a positive and productive work environment.​

QUALIFICATIONS

1-2 years of trade school or equivalent in-field technical experience

Proven communication and strong leadership skills

Physical ability to move 55 gallon, 600 lb drums (with dolly, must be able to push/pull)

Strong desire to learn and grow

General Computer skills, understanding of low voltage control circuits and three-phase power preferred

Highly service-oriented and self-motivated

Neat and clean in appearance and possesses a good driving record
